Lesson five
Today Ruby and I were the only members of our group who were in so we took the opportunity to talk about our individual piece and work on it. We decided to explore being blind and finding love with each other, but then loosing each other. We decided on blindness as the disability we would focus on as we thought the sounds we had heard around our site during rehearsal periods where similar to those made by a 'white tipped cane' when touching the ground and other surrounding objects. Therefore we decided to include these sounds at the beginning of our piece, which results in us finding each other. Though we did not get the piece moving much this lesson it was really useful to see where we were with it and to finalise what we were going to do in our piece as the show is next week and I wasn't feeling confident about it at all.
